研究方向

研究方向:

(1)气象学与大气环境:主要研究高影响天气气候事件的形成和演变机理、预报,以及天气气候变异与空气质量和大气成分之间的关系。

       Meteorology and Atmospheric Environment: focus on the formation and evolution mechanisms of high-impact weather and climate events, their predictions, and the connections between weather/climate variations and air quality/atmospheric constituents.

(2)气候系统和气候变化:主要研究气候系统各圈层(大气圈、水圈、冰冻圈、生物圈、岩石圈)之间的相互作用和气候变异预测,气候变化的时空特征、内在机理、影响、预估及其与人类活动的相互关系。

       Climate System and Climate Change: focus on the interactions among the components in the climate system (the atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, biosphere, and lithosphere), climate predictions, the temporal and spatial characteristics, mechanisms, impacts, and projections of climate change, and the interactions between climate change and human activities.

(3)大气物理和化学过程主要研究大气中的云-辐射-气溶胶-降水相互作用过程、大气圈与陆地或海洋之间的物质和能量的交换过程,以及人类活动与大气之间的相互影响过程。

       Atmospheric Physical and Chemical Processes: focus on the processes underlying cloud-radiation-aerosol-precipitation interactions, the mass and energy exchanges between the atmosphere and land/oceans, and the interactions between the atmosphere and human activities. 

(4)海洋气象学与物理海洋主要研究与天气气候变异相关联的海洋动力、热力和海气耦合过程、以及海洋气象要素和事件的预报预警的新理论与新方法。

       Marine Meteorology and Physical Oceanographyfocus on the dynamic and thermodynamic processes in the ocean, the ocean-atmospheric coupling processes that impact weather and climate, and novel approaches for better forecasting marine meteorological events.
